Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Review : Scylla Io

Quick Bio:
The guardian of the South Pacific Ocean Pillar. His armor represents the monster who lived in the Straight of Messia, a treacherous path that was traversed by Odysseus in Homer's The Odyssey. Kurumada's take on the monster featured the head of a maiden and the body of six beasts: Bee, Eagle, Serpent, Vampire Bat, Wolf and Grizzly Bear. As such Io's armor comprised of the six beasts.

Pros:
This is one beautiful figure. The face sculpt is amazing, as is the case with the other Marine Generals. The Scale is a great design not only because it incorporates the six beasts of the myth ( it even includes 4 1/2 sets of hands to help recreate of of his attacks), but also because of the assymetry of the armor due to this.

The chest piece is cool  as it overlaps , rather than just connecting together like most other Myth Cloth . Furthermore, the left waist armor actually extends down and tucks into the thigh armor.
Gotta love that 80's Hair

Cons
I have trouble finding faults with this figure. Although it is a little more plastic than I normally like , it is obvious that this was necessary to make the figure look as good as it does. Furthermore , it does not suffer from the problem of pieces that pop off , which is common with the plastic parts in most myth cloth.

Verdict
This is an awesome figure! !The figure stands out as one of the best in the Marine General Line. A great addition to any Saint Seiya Myth Cloth collection.
