Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Review : Sea Dragon Kannon

Sea Dragon Kanon Box
Sea Dragon Kanon is the man who is a big part of the many story arcs of Saint Seiya, and a such I could write A LOT about him. But instead of boring those who already know the story and turning off those that may not want spoilers , I will keep it brief and relatively spoiler free.
Kanon is banished to the prison, Sunion, for ploting to murder the Pope and the infant Athena. While attempting to escape , he breaks a wall of the prison and discovers Poseidon's trident that was sealed away by Athena. He awakens Poseidon, and assumes the identity of Sea Dragon. He then begins using the Marine Generals and Poseidon for his own ambitions.

Hit the Jump to see how the figure holds up to the legacy of the character.

Pros
Although the scale design is not as unique as some of the other Generals, it definitely has a presence. Part of this is due to the shaded face , which draws on the mystery that surrounded the character for much of the Poseidon arc.

The figure also comes with an extra body with the clothes that Kanon wears while imprisoned. This is a very nice addition, seeing as how the Plain Clothes Seiya and Shiryu go for about 25 bucks each. The only downside to the figure is it looks a little on the slim side , which is due to the fact that the bodies for these figures are not really meant to be displayed without armor.

Cons
The hand selection was kind of limited. Other than that , there is the ever-lasting beef that I have for the cheapy capes that Bandai includes with these figures.

Final Verdict
A nice addition to any fan's collection, whether they are trying to collect the Marine Generals or are just looking to get the best of the Myth Cloth Line. I mean how can you say no to a solid Myth Cloth plus the extra Hobo Fighter Kanon that it comes with?
