Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Megazord (2010)

The original Power Rangers series saw a re-release on ABC (owned by Disney) due to the fact that the  most recent Sentai show was heavily imbued with Japanese culture , and as such it was thought that it would not translate into a good American Power Rangers show. Along with the new, edited version of the show , Bandai released a new line of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Toys: some figures of the original Power Rangers( with some crazy attachments that were never in the show), two versions of the Dragon flute , and the Megazord. Though there were other toys slated for release, as far as I know they have not hit the store shelves.

Revoltech - Dix-Neuf

The first Revoltech featured on Getter Newtype is Dix-Neuf from the Gainax OVA Diebuster! The 19th created Buster Machine in service, Dix-Neuf (French for 19) is also the oldest, said to be thousands of years old. Because of this, the biomechanical warrior has accumulated hundreds of lifetimes worth of battle experience. Happy Halloween! Mad Scientist Dissect-An-Alien Review

Straight out of the slime fad of the 80's is the Mad Scientist Dissect-An-Alien!

The Mad Scientist line of toys was created by Mattel in 1987. The line included a plastic bendy Mad Scientist figure and two main sets. One of them was the Monster Lab which allowed kids to mold putty onto interchangeable skeletons. Once the beast in question was made, it could be enjoyed for however long the kid wanted to enjoy it. But most kids were like me, and slapping the flesh on those monster bones served one purpose. To melt it off their bones! Yep, a special tank was included that kids filled with water and dunked the figure into. The effervescent effect of dissolving flesh is probably what makes forensic shows so popular today. Anyways, this review is about the other major set from the toy line. The Dissect-An-Alien kit! Back in the day I received this weird little spud as a gift. This was right smack in the middle of the time when slime toys were hot. Some of you might remember the Masters of the Universe Horde Slime Pit that allowed you to cover your He-Man toys in gross ooze. Slime seems to go in and out of fashion once every decade and this is a strange but fun slime toy. Read after the jump!
